What are Dermal Fillers?
Dermal fillers are a natural method to stimulate collagen and fill facial features where there is a lack of volume. As we age, our body produces less collagen causing our skin to sag. Dermal fillers work by lifting the skin gently to create volume. While most fillers help with volume loss, some can stimulate collagen growth.

How long does a Dermal Filler treatment take?
Dermal filler procedures can take between 30 to 45 minutes depending on the time it takes to numb the treated area.
How do Dermal Fillers Work?
Dermal fillers such as Juvéderm® & Restylane® use hyaluronic acid which is a natural substance that our bodies produce. This substance can be found in every cell in the human body. When injected, fillers give a smooth appearance with less wrinkles and a volume increase in necessary areas.
Fillers such as Sculptra® or Radiesse® use different natural substances that stimulate collagen while simultaneously assisting where there is volume loss. The results can last longer than other dermal fillers.

How long do results last?
Most clients who receive dermal fillers see visible wrinkle reduction for six months to two years following their initial treatment depending on the product used.
Are dermal filler treatments painful?
While we do use a needle to inject the dermal filler, most clients find the procedure very tolerable. We utilize topical numbing cream as well as injected lidocaine to ensure your comfort.
